West Side Story, one of our most beloved shows here at Harand Camp, has music by Leonard Bernstien and Lyrics By Stephen Sondiem. West Side was Sondhiem's first lyrical success. Under the tutelage of Leonard Bernstien, Sondheim found his voice, but his melodies were still to come. Sondhiem said "I fell into lyric writing because of music, I backed into it". West Side Story has been enjoyed by generations, and continues to bring hope and change to the world today.
